Official General Education Development (GED) Test

The Official GED Test will be administered once a month (subject to change due to scheduling conflicts).  Testing will be split between two days.  Attendance is required on both days to complete all five tests.  Testing begins at 8:30 a.m. and is normally completed by 1:00 p.m. each day.

Registration is required to take the Official GED Test.  You must register prior to the testing date.  This also includes re-testers.  Once the date for the test has been set, we will accept registration between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, until the Friday before the testing date. Absolutely no exceptions will be made.  No registration will be taken the week of the testing dates.  Registration will close if all available testing slots have been sold. No one will be allowed to register unless he/she has all the necessary documentation and the testing fee of $55 in cash ($11.00 per test for re-testers).  No checks or credit/debit cards will be accepted.  Following is a list of the necessary documentation you must bring when registering for the Official GED Test:

1) Driver’s License/State Photo ID Card

2) Proof of GED Practice Test (Official Transcript of GED Practice Test  results notarized by an     approved administrator, normally your local Adult Education Supervisor)

3) Testing fee, cash only ($55.00 for entire test; $11.00 per test on re-test).

If all necessary documentation is not presented, you will not be allowed to register.  Please allow a minimum of 20 minutes to complete the registration process.

Please direct all questions concerning the Official GED Test to Sue McBroom, 731-635-3368.
