Mission

PURPOSE OF INSTITUTION

The mission of the Tennessee Technology Center at Ripley is to enhance area workforce development. The Center supports this mission by providing state-of-the-art training which qualifies students for employment and/or advancement in current or future occupational fields.

The Tennessee Technology Center at Ripley will execute this mission by:

• Offering programs consistent with the needs of our external customers, the employers
• Offering programs and methods of study proven to be effective in meeting individual student needs and capabilities including the promotion of dual-credit opportunities for secondary students
• Ensuring continuous improvement of staff and faculty skills consistent with accepted levels of technical training excellence
• Ensuring continuous improvement of material and equipment consistent with the needs of the programs
• Emphasizing the development of student work ethic by teaching accepted principles and leading by example
• Making training opportunities available to all in the community who possess the desire and potential necessary for success
• Working as a catalyst for change in developing community educational strategies consistent with fostering economic recovery

 JOB PLACEMENT

Job placement for graduating students is a top priority at TTC-Ripley. While placement cannot be guaranteed, the entire staff is committed to assisting in job placement in every way possible.
