Technology Foundations

The Technology Foundations program is a system of computerized instructional activities of reading, math, locating information and writing.

Each applicant, with the exception of those enrolling in Patient Care Technician and Practical Nursing, completes the KeyTrain assessments and automatically is assigned to activities which will increase the skills used in the occupational program.  KeyTrain is a targeted computer based curriculum written specifically to help students master the applied workplace skills.

Technology Foundations is individualized and competency based.  Students remain in this individualized training until the desired skill levels are mastered.  Individuals may also enroll in Technology Foundations for personal educational development or in preparation for testing and/or enrolling in other school programs.

Students enrolled in any program that is at least 1296 hours in length will complete the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC).  Diploma graduates are required to score a silver or better.
