Adult Education

Mission Statement

The Adult Education Program at TTC-Ripley mission is to educate and empower adult learners through literacy initiatives by teaching academic, job readiness, and life-coping skills consistent with self-sufficiency that will enhance the quality of life of our learners and their family members.

 

Types of Programs Offered

  • Pre- GED/ GED Preparation- Preparing adult learners for the GED exam
  • Basic Skills- Instruction in Reading, Writing and Math
  • Refresher- adult learners who already have a high school diploma and wants to improve current skills or prepare for post secondary

 

All Adult Education classes are FREE of charge and are geared to the individual needs of adult learners.

 

Class Information

Monday – Thursday            8:30am– 10:30am

Monday – Thursday            10:30am– 12:30pm

Monday – Thursday            5:00pm– 8:00pm

 

All students must complete orientation before entering classes.

Orientation schedule:  Monday 4:30pm – 8:30pm and Tuesday 8:30am – 12:30 pm

Official Practice Test is required before taking the GED Test.

TTC-Ripley is an Official General Education Development (GED) TestCenter.  Please call for testing schedule and to pre-register.
