The Computer Operations Technology (COT) Program prepares the student for employment in a variety of computer-related fields in today’s technology centered society. This program features plenty of hands-on learning, lecture, and a host of activities that will give the student a working knowledge of the most popular software applications and hardware technology available today. It also features in-depth studies of the major operating systems, networking, programming, and configuration of computers and servers. Successful graduates will possess both entry level and advanced skills necessary to secure employment in a wide range of computer specialties, such as Computer Technician, Technical Support Specialist, Software Specialist, Network Technician, and Computer Programmer.

There are multiple levels available for the student to complete. The certificates and diplomas available for the student to earn are listed at the bottom of this page. While in the COT program, the student also has the opportunity to pursue industry recognized certifications, such as (but not limited to): Certified Internet Webmaster, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Network+ Certified Technician, and Security+ Certified Professional.
